CUSHIONS
I have used some of my pictures to create cushions. A section of an entire picture might be featured, or separate elements, to make a new design. This is done to fit a specific size and shape of cushion and with some I have also designed the edging.
I have a dislike of cushions with plain backs; mine either have the same design on both sides or complementary designs on each side.
All the cushion covers have zips for removal, dry cleaning information attached and the pads are feather filled. Some of the cushions have a co-ordinating fabric.
FABRIC
My curtain fabric designs originate from my pictures, creating a repeating pattern that can be of any length. I have also re-created individual pictures to fit a specific window without a repeating pattern; each drop is a panel, the number of panels determined by the width. This aspect of my work requires consultation with the client.
Some of the fabrics have co-ordinating cushions.
